This Acceptable Use Policy sets out the rules for using the BuildSource platform. It forms part of our Terms of Service. Breaching it may result in suspension or termination of your account.
1. General conduct
You must use the Platform lawfully, honestly, and in good faith, and only for genuine construction procurement purposes.
You must provide accurate information in your profile, listings, quotes, and orders, and keep it up to date.
2. Prohibited activities
- Posting false, misleading, deceptive, or fraudulent listings, quotes, reviews, or information.
- Infringing the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any person.
- Uploading malware, or attempting to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, other accounts, or our systems.
- Scraping, harvesting, or bulk-extracting data from the Platform without our written permission.
- Circumventing the Platform to avoid fees, or soliciting users for purposes unrelated to legitimate procurement.
- Harassing, threatening, or abusing other users or our staff.
- Using the Platform to breach any Australian law, standard, or building code.
3. Content standards
Content you submit must be relevant, lawful, and not offensive, discriminatory, or defamatory. We may remove content that breaches this policy and may report unlawful activity to authorities.
4. Security obligations
You must not interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform, probe or test its vulnerability without authorisation, or bypass any security or access controls. Responsible disclosure of vulnerabilities is welcomed under our Security Policy.
5. Reporting and enforcement
Report suspected breaches to [INSERT support@yourdomain.com.au]. We may investigate, remove content, warn, suspend, or terminate accounts, and take any other action we consider appropriate, including cooperating with law enforcement.
